In a drive to enhance positive parenting, YONECO has intensified parenting activities in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Malemia in Zomba district.
The sessions are aimed at equipping parents and guardians of adolescent boys and girls with relevant knowledge and skills for raising children to successfully transition into adulthood.
So far, a total of 483 parents and guardians have been reached from four villages across the area. The sessions will be scaled up to all villages that are within the vicinity of TA Malemia’s area.
The participants have also been encouraged to seek more information from YONECO’s Helpline Counsellors through the organization’s toll-free Child Helpline #116.
